Skull with Glen Craig

After a few months of not updating this page with my artwork, I am back and I will be sharing lots of new work.  I have been busy working on art for a couple different Facebook games and I am hoping that I will be able to share some of this work in the future.

This is a piece that me and Glen Craig a friend and Tattoo artist from near Vancouver have been working on very slowly for about a year.  I just put together the 2 halves and in the next while I will be working on making a complete piece of the 2 halves.

This weekend Glen will be working at the West Coast Tattoo Convention so if your in Vancouver or the outlining area you should go check it out.  Glen will have a few of my prints for sale for cheap as well as some of my shirts for sale.  If you want a tattoo before summer he works Tuesday thru Thurdays in Maple Ridge at Wes' Tattoo and Friday and Saturdays at Dragon Tattoo in Surrey.

Food Will Win the War

War propaganda that the US government commissioned Disney Studios to make once they entered WW2.  Both these shorts have to do with food and food production and how the public could help the war effort and why the US food production and American innovation was key to winning the war and defeating the Axis.

This is How the Federal Reserve is Making You Poor

This explains how the American Federal Reserve and  the European Central Bank along with The Internations Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank are making everyone poor and causing all countries economies to collapse.  All the while corporations whose public shares are largely owned and controlled by the same few families that control these central banks are pulling in profits.

So Ron Paul has already won at least 2 states...?

Well this goes against the media script but it looks like when the Republican National Convention happens Ron Paul is going to have a lot more delegates then the media is letting on or that the Republican party is deciding not to count right now.  If you put him on a stage with Obama he will be able to tear him apart and he will be the next President.  If he runs as a third party Libertarian the media will do the best to ignore him and the two parties will do all that they can to keep him out of the debts.  Good thing he has the internet as a tool unless Congress is able to pass CISPA to sensor his message and run.

CISPA: The latest online threat

The US government is once again quickly and as quietly as possible trying to invade internet privacy and monitor and control online traffic the same way they tried to a few months ago with SOPA and PIPA.  This affects everyone not just US citizens so learn more about CISPA and then opposite it and hopefully once again the public can kill this bill the way they did with SOPA and PIPA.

Relating Solar Storms, Aurora Borealis and Earth's Magnetosphere

Over the next year there will be a period of increased solar flares and solar storms and that will mean an increase in the chances of seeing Aurora Borealis.  The closer you are to the poles the more likely you are too see this, but a period of solar activity in 1859 enabled people as far away as the Caribbean to see the Northern Lights.

The Jetman and the 10 Biggest and Best Jumps

I'm afraid of heights but I wish I wasn't.  Especially after watching this.

Too Much Copyright

Originally copyright was to promote useful arts, but aging properties of corporations have seen the laws continually changed to protect these properties and keep them in the public domain.  This clip debates the usefulness on government imposed bills such as PIPA, SOPA, ACTA and whatever will come next.  Governments and corporations have a very different view from the public, and those that understand as to what copyright is and should do.

The movie RiP: A Remix Manifesto is a movie that focuses on the DJ, Girl Talk, whose music is a collage of hundreds of different copyrighted samples.  It tells of how he gets around copyright, fair use, and creative commons.  As a day job Girl Talk (Greg Gillis) is a biomedical engineer so the movie also talks about how copyright and patents stifle and limit what can be done in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

Wikileaks: Julian Assange's The World Tomorrow

During his year and half stint of house arrest (without any charges laid) Julian Assange has been preparing a News program that will debut on RT.com (Russia Today) and their Youtube page on April 17th.  The shows guests are being kept secret but in a press release they are said to be "the most interesting and controversial people alive in the world today," including "politicians, revolutionaries, intellectuals, artists and visionaries" to present a "revolutionary spirit."  Below Assange describes the show, how he managed to produce it while under arrest and why he chose RT.com to broadcast the show.  Having a show like this online is exactly why governments are trying to create laws and pass bill like SOPA, PIPA, and ACTA, to curb dissidence, stop free speech, and keep their dirty business secret.  It will be interesting what this show will uncover while giving Wikileaks a direct media outlet.  While most people have heard about Wikileaks only a small precentage how heard of what they have uncovered.

Pitchfork Media has just revealed that M.I.A. will be providing the music.

Landing a Man on the Moon Once Again

Russia has reveled its plans to land a man on the moon within the next decade and beginning constructing a lunar base in order to studying the possibility of water and life on the Moon.  In Focus by the Atlantic has published a collection of photos, which I have posted a select few below, documenting the nearly decade long Project Gemini, which was the precursor to the first man landing on the Moon in 1969.
