Hunter S. Thompson: This is Bat Country Giclee Prints

Wanting to do a limited set of prints of my Hunter S. Thompson illustration, after five years, I decided to revisit this image and draw a background and colour it after all these years.

There are two different versions that are signed and numbered, limited to 25 copies of each (a black and white version and a coloured version).  The prints are 36 x 51cm (or approx. 14 x 20 inches) on Eterma Elite 320gsm art paper.  A print is $80 and $30 for shipping with tracking and insurance ($20 for shipping without tracking and insurance).  If you are interested in purchasing one email me and I will send you a Paypal link, please indicate which shipping option and which version of the print you would like (colour or black and white).  I am shipping these from Australia so they will arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Mother Nature Giclee Prints for Sale

I have a new set of giclee prints available of an older piece of work of mine that I have received many requests for over the years, since I first completed Mother Nature.  This is a limited edition print of 50 that is 66cm x 44 cm (or 26 inches by 17.5 inches) and they are signed and numbered.  A print is $80 and shipping is $20 to North America and Europe ($30 if you would like the print insured with a tracking number).  If you are interested in purchasing one I can email you a Paypal link and send one off in the post for you, which will take about 2-3 weeks since I am sending it from Australia.

Wu-Tang Forever: Painting for Sale

Did this painting over the weekend at Rainbow Serpent.  I am selling the original for $200 + shipping.  It is 12" x 16" or slightly larger than 30 cm x 40cm watercolour paper.  I am still planning on changing a few things and adding background on Photoshop.

Mister Heavenly and Nick Diamond

A few weeks ago Mister Heavenly released their first album, Out of Love, and although I am a fan of all the different bands that the members are from I didn't pick it up and listen until a couple days ago.  It is very good.  Dark, slow, menacing, and poppy; it has a little bit of all the members other bands sounds.  Ryan Kattner (Honus Honus the frontman for Man Man) and Nick Thorburn (Nick Diamond the frontman for the Unicorns, Islands, th Corn Gangg, Reefer...) share writting and vocal duties and Joe Plummer (from Modest Mouse, Helio Sequence) plays drums.  Click on the album cover below to stream the album.

Dave Rapoza: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Series

For the last few months I came across Dave Rapoza's work after seeing one of his Ninja Turtle Portraits.  After 6 months he has completed the 16 piece series of the major characters. 

 

On his website you can see step by step images showing just how he goes about creating these protraits and there are even some videos.  There are also prints of some of the portraits for sale but they are selling out.

Tree of Life Poster

What from far looks like the rings of an old tree is actually made up of silhouettes of an assortment of animals from all over the planet.  I want this so I can see just what all the animals are.
