Day and Night: Work in Progress

For the Character of the Week challenge at ConceptArt.com.  I said I would do more of these but have been unable too do any since I said that because the Mother Nature illustration took up all my time.  This is the female figure for Day and now I will work on the Male figure for Night and then colour the piece.
So the female figure was Day and this is Night.  I have also put them in one but i think i will change it a bit and try out some colour, but I really like it in black and white.

Theocide: Steel & Stone Music and Album Artwork Coming Next Week

Mother Nature

So its finally done after two weeks.  I spent a lot of time on this one.  Definitely the most complicated drawing I have ever done.  I'm stoked about this one because I made sure everyline was in the right place.  I like all the patterns and how the bend into each other and are aborbed by one another.  I used a lot of line and design styles and they work together well.  Anyways, I will be colouring this one shortly but in going to take a break and do a picture or two before that.

I have also attached an animation to show how work progressed.  The music Mr Same Mistake is a clip from a track that is over 20 minutes but doesn't seem like it.  Its damn good.  You can listen to the whole thing here:

Snail collaboration with Glen Craig

This was originally draw by Glen Craig and then I added the background and punched up the colours and made a fw adjustments using Photoshop.  If you live in Vancouver or the lower mainland you should go get a tattoo by him.  You can contact him thru his myspace page and check out more of his work there as well.  I think we will be doing more collaborations in the future.

Don't Give a Raccoon's Asshole

This is a sketch/drawing a did one day at the lake.  It was probably the last truly hot down of summer in Berlin (that was about 3 weeks ago).  This next week I hope to put up a few more pictures including the butterfly picture which I hope to finish soon.  It is a lot of work and I didn't get much done on it at all last week due to being stuck in bed sick.  Within the next month I will put up the album artwork I did for the new Theocide LP "Steal & Stone" which I am really looking forward to showing everyone.  Its very "heavy metal" looking.  Brutal, dark and awesome.  I also have a new project on the horizon that could end up to be something very different and amazing.  But you won't hear anymore about that for a few months.
