Billy Miner T-Shirt Designs

These are some T-Shirt designs I did for the Billy Miner Pub in Maple Ridge in hopes that they would use these designs for promotions but after hearing nothing I thought I should share with everyone else.  Would you wear one of these?

Billy Miner was rumoured to be the first man to rob a train in Canada (which is not true).  He was reveared and loved by the public for stealing from the Canadian Pacific Railroad which was gouging the people with unreasonable fares and prices.  He was also know as the Grey Fox and the Gentleman Robber.

18 Angry Pigs

For a series of pictures that I will complete in the next few months...maybe.

The Host 2 Preview Clip

I loved The Host, a korean made movie about mutant monsters that emerge out of the polluted river now has a sequel and while I wasn't expecting or hoping for a sequel it looks like the special effects will at least be as good as the first movie.

Koi Fish/Pisces/Ying Yang

This is for a tattoo design I was commissioned to draw.  Each fish will go on the back of each calf of both legs.

Merry Christmas from Santa Claus

Hope everyone has some time off work to enjoy the holidays.  I have been drawing this for over a week on my commute to work on the train.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays wherever you are.

Koi Fish

This is for a tattoo design that I'm working on.  I have a bit more to shade on this and then another fish to colour.

Man of Steel Trailer

I really like this trailer and like the way this Superman movie is heading even though the trailer does not give much of the plot away.

NSFW: Brauheist Album Artwork

This will offend some people but I don't really care, most people following my artwork should expect some offensive shit.  Deal with it.  This is the artwork for Brauheist's demo that they released just over a week ago.  If you want a physical copy of the EP and can't make it to a show to buy one go to:

brauheist.bigcartel.com

or you can stream the album at:

brauheist.bandcamp.com

I have been listening to this a ton because its fucking great.  Heavy as hell.  I will take some photos of the actual CD packaging once it arrives here and post the photos.

Bubble Bobble Redesign

Had to rush the colour job but whatever it looks alright.

A piece I'm working on as a weekly challenge on Conceptart.org.  A redesign of the main characters from the original NES game Bubble Bobble.  Colour coming soon.

Scenes from Antarctica

This series of photos of Antarctica, a portion from a larger collection from In Focus, shows the beauty and isolation of the barren south.  Go to In Focus to see more pictures and to read an explaination of what is going on in each of these.

Reality Check: How One Ohio County Could Decide the Election

Interesting stuff.  Odd.  I don't like Obama but how it is a close race is beyond my understanding.  Mitt Romney is obviouslys a currupt self serving scumbag, with a running mate that has date-rape charm that wants to make abortion and having an abortion a convitable offence.  Lesser of two evils is whom most people will be voting for this election and I bet the voting totals will be way down from last election with far fewer people voting.

Bond vs. Bond

A well edited faceoff between all the different Bond actors in a deathmatch complete with Goldeneye music.

WU-TANG CLAN with THE ROOTS

Didn't think I would ever see this on live TV.  Amazing.  They sound awesome...Hopefully one more Wu-Tang album.  The Man with the Irons Fists soundtrack is awesome but Wu-Tang have one more awesome album before their 20th anniversary.  Sadly no Method Man.

Iron Man 3 Trailer

They hired a new director for the new Iron Man and said that they intended to make the best Marvel movie yet and this preview makes it look like they might have done that.  Ben Kingsley and Guy Pierce are awesome additions!

10 Mind Bending Facts about the Universe

Baywatch

After a few night messing around with the background I am happy to post this finished version.  Hopefully more new artwork to follow this weekend.

Stream The Man in the Iron Fists Soundtrack

RZA has essembled an all-star soundtrack for his first foray into directing, the kung-fu epic The Man with the Iron Fists.  It is a surprisingly strong soundtrack featuring the likes of  Kanye West, the Wu-Tang Clan, Talib Kweli, Ghostface Killah, Pusha T, Raekwon, Pharoahe Monchand RZA himself, who along with producing the soundtrack and MCing, directing the film, also stars as the title character in the film.  Ghostface sounds especially fierce here, invigorated and pissed off, and in a few months time he will release a new album with RZA also serving as Executive Producer so after a few weaker albums its exciting to think we may have another Ghostface classic in front of us.  Below is the red band trailer.

Rolling Stones: You Can't Always Get What You Want (Soulwax Remix)

Beck: “NYC: 73-78″

The new double-CD compilation Rework: Philip Glass Remixed, put together by Glass and Beck, has a ton of indie stars remixing pieces from the experimental music legend. Dan Deacon, Tyondai Braxton, Memory Tapes, Cornelius, Pantha Du Prince, and many others contribute, and Beck himself has turned in the 21-minute “NYC: 73-78,” which stitches together and reworks a number of different Glass pieces.

Lincoln TV Trailer

Tragically this played last night while Obama and Romney pretended to represent something different from one another, while pandering to the sheeple with lies and talk of how they will improve the economy while they both plan on continuing to expand the military around the world and police forces at home, guaranteeing a future of chaos and terrorism for all people around the world no matter what the country.  There will never be another man like Lincoln but luckily he and the founding father's have left the constitution behind as their legacy in which the people of the US can lawfully take back their country and secure a prosperous future for all man kind by eliminating the military industrial complex and jailing and outlawing the banksters and the corruption enabled by the fractal reserve banking system.

Trash Talk: Exile on Broadway

Click on the link to listen to Exile on Broadway on SoundCloud by Trash Talk.  They release their first album, titled 119, next Tuesday (Oct. 9th) and if this song and their first EP are any indication this album is going to be awesome.  If your lucky enough to live in Southern California they are playing a free show at their house on Saturday at noon.

NSFW: Movie 43 Trailer

I don't know what the fuck is going on here but it looks like it will be funny if not completely stupid.

This started as a quick sketch that I ended up messing around with for a few days.  I've been staring at this too long tonight but I think I will still be happy with it in the morning.

Shawn Clovers Photographs of San Francisco

I first saw Shawn Clover's photograph when I saw his unique series of San Francisco, in which he combined his photographs with archival photographs from the 1906 earthquake that leveled the city.  Over 3000 people were killed and fires raged for three days afterwards, destroying 80% of the city.  This archival aerial view shows the total destruction of the city as well as another image capturing the fires consuming the city.  Below are some selected photos from this series by Shawn Clover.  You can see more of these photos from this collection as well as other shots of the city and other locations across the globe on his website or flickr photostream.

Below are more photographs of San Francisco but these are tilt shift photos and a few HDR shots.
