The Avengers

I never read Avengers but I think its pretty crazy that they are actually making this, out of any comic, into a movie.  The poster shows all the characters and its going to be amazing to see all these characters on the big screen.

Debt and its Natural Cycle

This is something I drew tonight.  I just finished it and its nearly 7 in the morning.  I did it for a submission to Longshot Magazine which they announced this afternoon at 12 and had to be complete in 24 hours.  Over the next 24 hours (after the deadline) they will select artworks, writtings, quotes, stories, music and lay them out for the mag which will be finished from start to complete in 48 hours.  Hopefully this gets picked but if not i really enjoyed doing this and it forced me to work super fast, completing this in between 6 and 8 hours.  The picture reminds me of the cover to the body, the boold, the machine by the Thermals.

Arena Berlin Badeschiff

While I was living in Berlin last summer I went few times, swimming in a barge that has been converted into a pool.  It sits in the Spree River in the Kreuzberg district of the city.  By far the coolest pool I have ever been too.  Arena Berlin has a lot more then just the pool, there is a club (of course, where isn't there a club in Berlin) a grass park, art installations, a canal with resteraunts running along both sides and a lot more.  Visit there site the website and see more.  (Badeschiff is swimming pool in German)

30 Minutes or Less Red Band Trailer

This will be the funniest...

A different version with different scenes.

Umshini Wam

Bring me my machine gun, bring me my machine gun, bring me my machine gun, bring me my machine gun, bring me my machine gun...

A short film by the insanely talented, and slighly insane Harmony Korine starring Ninja and Yo Landi of Die Antwoord as wheelchair-bound gangsters struggling to find their place in the world.

Utopian Architecture

All finished.  Now I need to work on a few other things and decide how I will colour this one.

I am almost done the line drawing on this one.  I will add another tower on the left hand side of the page because it looks off balance right now.  Its late so I will get the line drawing finished tomorrow and then I will put this one off to the side for a bit and work on some other things before colouring this one.

Teaser Poster for the Dark Knight Rises

This is the first poster for the new Batman.  It is a great design and well executed, conveying a look of total destruction and not giving away any information.  The first teaser trailer is supposed to be out within a week.

Tbe Ankonian is a concept car by Lamborghini that is supposed to have inspired the design of the new Batmobile that will be unveiled in the Dark Knight Rises.  This thing looks amazing, would be prefect for a Batmobile, and looks fast as hell.

Wu Tang: Enter the Dubstep

I don't know how I haven't heard of this before this weekend.  I'm normally on top of music and listening as soon as it leaks, especailly anything that is Wu Tang.  I have been listening to a lot of Dubstep lately and Wu Tang is the best, so this album is a dream come true.  It is an official Wu Tang release so you can find it in the stores (people still buy cds?).  I will be wearing this album out this summer.

Mastodon: The Hunter

Today Mastodom revealed the cover to their new album The Hunter which is cool as hell.  A little different (Paul Romano did the first three LPs artwork) then the rest of their album covers but great like all their album art.

The cover is by AJ Fosik, whos work i have been aware of for about a year but only because of his 3 dimensional sculptures.  I am wondering if this is a digiatl painting of a photo of one of his sculptures or if it is a photo that has just been placed onto a digitally painted background.  Click on the album cover to see more work by AJ Fosik.  The new record will be out by the end of the year.

The Tree Hotel

Located in Northern Sweden just shy of the Arctic Circle, The Tree Hotel was completed last year. There are 6 different rooms, all designed by different architects, were created to coexist as a part of nature itself. The Mirror Cube, the Bird’s Nest, the Cabin, The Blue Cone, the UFO, and A Room with a View are all suspended amoung the pine forest.
