Born January 6, 1832 and died January 23, 1883, Gustave Doré was a French artist, engraver, illustrator and sculptor but he worked primarily with wood engraving and steel engraving.  He was know for working for publishers illustrating books such as Cervantes's Don Quixote, Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven, Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Milton's Paradise Lost, Tennyson's The Idylls of the King, and the Bible.

Urban Dictionary defines it as "an internet phenomenon, similar to planking, in which users upload photographs of a cat adorned with slices of bread, especially by pushing the cat's face through the middle of a slice, often causeing the cat to stand stock-still wearing an expression of rage."  I call it amazing.

Skeleton Astronaut

A quick update to fix my problems that I had with the previous version.  I am still not completely happy so I hope to return to this one day with an idea to fix it because I really like the skeleton astronaut.

I'm not sure about this but I am tired of working on this.  Will see what I decide to do.

Government Run Schooling

I have been against government run schools for the last few years as I was seeing the system fall apart and being cut while the quality of education is constantly in decline while the government asks for more money.  Education has never been cheaper then now, with almost all knowledge and history at our fingertips as material is rapidly being digitalized and as computers, ipads and softwear create unlimited possiblities.  It is time to end the declining government run education and invite alternative thought, understanding, and innovation into education.
